A Christmas Story

Hi everybody! It’s time for blog number ten, in this occasion I have to tell a story.

When I was a child, I don’t remember my age, but I know that this happened a long time ago in a similar date. I went with my grandmother, my aunt and my three cousins to a Christmas fair that was located at no more than 10 blocks from my house.

My cousin Sebastian and I were bored because my grandmother and aunt walked so slowly, and the only thing that we want to do was look for toys, so we decided to walk the Christmas fair by our count. We were talking a lot and having a lot of fun, I began to tell Sebastian something, so I talked and talked and talked till I turned around to ask something to my cousin, there was the moment when I realized that Sebastian wasn’t there; I tried to find my cousin I walked the whole fair and I didn’t see him, and I didn’t see the rest of my family too. I remember that I was so scared and I didn’t know what to do, in fact I felt like Kevin of Home Alone hahaha, I was afraid of asked for help to a strange, so I went to the entry of the Christmas fair and I waited for a lot of time to my family.

When I was thinking of going home alone, I saw the hair of my aunt in the crown, I was so excited, I ran to her with tears in my eyes and I hugged her, the funny thing is that she wasn’t my aunt, she looked at me as a freak, I was so embarrassed; but in that moment I heard my grandmother calling my name, I hugged her stronger than the hug to the stranger lady, and we finally went home.

The Fastest Predator

Hi everyone! In this opportunity I will talk about a fascinating animal.

For me an amazing animal is the Cheetah because it is one of the fastest animals on the earth, I remember that when I was a child I use to saw the documentary films every week, and every time that the documentary films showed the Cheetah I was freak out because of it incredible speed, Cheetah is able to run at 95 km/h even at 125 km).

These animals have some habits like always stay wander, because they don’t have a defined territory. Another habit that Cheetahs have is the fact that they are polygamous (maybe it’s a cool idea hahaha).

Cheetahs are hunters, so they use to hunt gazelles, zebras, also some birds; they live in the African Savanna.

I don’t know much about the Cheetahs mouth; the only thing I know is that they have sharp teeth and very big fangs.

The thing that I love about Cheetahs (apart of its speed) is there qualities, first they have great eyesight, they are very observant, and they are meticulous in the art of hunting; all that abilities that they have make Cheetahs a lethal murderer.

For all that I mentioned it’s why Cheetah is one of the most dangerous predator, and one of my favorite animals.

What do you plan to do this summer?

Hi! In this opportunity I have to talk about what I plan to do this summer.

This year summer maybe it will be a little bit different than the past summers, because in past years’ vacations we use to go the beach or to the south, doesn’t matter the place we went, but we use to travel out of Santiago. But like I said before this year it will be different, because I don’t think that we will go out of Santiago, this summer I will stay at homeL.

So I have to think in a way to have fun this summer, maybe I will spend a lot of time with my cousins going out to parks, parties, pools, or maybe we will just stay in a house talking about a lot of stupid things, or taking photos, or recording videos, or many things that we use to do when we are boring.

I guess that this summer weather it will be hotter than past years, is for that reason that I’ll try to be the closest to the water as it’s possible, I guess that I’ll go to a pool, or play with water balloons or a hose to get wet like old school style hahaha, obviously with a lot of sunscreen because I’m very whitey xd.

All that I say at the moment is the fun part, the sad part is that I will have to work this summer, I don’t already know in what job, maybe a bag packer, waiter, or strip dancer as last option hahaha, the fact is that I will have to work to make some money for the next year.

I guess that this summer it will be the longest of my life.

My Favourite Photograph

Hi everyone! In this blog I’m gonna talk about my favourite photograph.

This photo was taken by my sister Nissy, she is the mother of Santiago (the little one in the photo), on September, 2015; I don’t remember the date exactly. This photo shows my parents with his grandchildren, my nephews Santiago and Vicente.

I love this photo because my parents are smiling and enjoying of their grandchildren, also because it shows the growth of the family and represent the unity of my family, the unity that I hope that always exists. Other reason why I love this photograph is because it shows my nephews in an earlier age and they look so tender and cutes; and the finally and most important reason why I chose this photograph is the fact that the day it was taken was the day when we were celebrating my parents anniversary, I will always remember that day, because the whole family got together and we eat a lot, play a lot, and we have a lot of fun.

In summary this picture represents family.

An ability that I admire

Hi, today I am gonna talk about a skill that I admire.

I will always remember when I was a child and I spent a lot of hours watching Michael Jackson’s dance videos, for example “Thriller”, “Bad”, “Smooth Criminal”, my favourite the “MTV Award presentation”, etc. I was admire of the movements that Michael did, and I tried to imitate, even nowaday I try to do the same movements, but unfortunately I don’t have the talent of dancing like Jackson, and I guess that I will never have that talent.

I think that dancing is a great ability because it requires a great fitness, concentration, and act out feelings; so it’s very difficult to be a great dancer like Michael Jackson.

Maybe it’s not very helpful, but I think that is a excelent tool for having fun, or set free all the stress in our life, also it’s a very amuse way of do exercises.

In summary a skill that I admire is the ability of be a good dancer, for me it’s very difficult, as a matter of fact watch me dance it’s the most awfull thing in the world, maybe your eyes bleed. I hope that in another life born with the talent of be a good dancer.

My Dream Job

Hi! I'm gonna talk about my dream job, I'm a student now, but in a not far future I have to go to work, and if I have to work in something, I would like that job be a outdoor job. I don't like a indoor job, because I think that it will be so bored and repetitive, it will become a routine and I don't want that.

In my dream job I would like to travel all around the world, visit a lot of places, meet different cultures and languages, eat many kinds of food, I think that I will have a lot of fun.

Maybe I will have an office, but only to put in order my financial accounts when I come back from travels.

The last thing that I would  like to have in my dream job are vacations whenever I want, but I guess that's so unlikely.

A job with all that requirements maybe doesn't exist, maybe a professional wrestling or professional football player approach, but I don't think that I could have one of that jobs. Is because of that reason that I'm studying dentistry, and it's a indoor job, but I think that in the hospital I'll see a lot of pacients with different aches or patologies, so I don't think that dentistry is a bored or routinarie job.

Friendship

Hello I’m going to talk about friends. For me a friend is someone that is always by my side, not in a physical way, I’m talking about someone that is with me in good times, bad times, someone that hear my problems, give me advices, laugh together, and many other things. Many people thinks that your friends must have your same all interest, but I don’t think so, maybe one interest or two, as a matter of fact my best friend and I have totally different interest, the only common interest is football.

Friendship is very important in my life, it brings to me many funny moments, and gives me the certainty that I will never be alone.

My best friends of a lifetime are Abel and Sebastián, they are my cousins. I always remember that when we were younger we used to fight everytime and everyday, but nowaday we have a lot of fun, we meet all the weekends and we go to the mall, the funny thing is that we don’t go for shopping, we go for talk about everything and eat ice creams.
